First Calf of our Season!

Today just happens to be my 53rd Birthday and I got such a pleasant BD present from Micheal and Karen Luchiak (Spotlight Speckle Park) who are leasing our cows this year, a baby heifer was born! She is a black, 85lb heifer who decided to enter the world backwards. Thanks to Micheal's assistance she was safely on the ground. We will be looking forward to more babies from this point on as my BD was to be our start date, or around about. On another note, we have some yearlings that are developing into pretty darn nice bull prospects. These bulls have been tested for genomics and will be semen tested prior to sale/pickup/delivery.They are not a year old yet but soon will be most of them. We have FOUR for sale this spring and if you are looking for YEARLINGS that are in good working condition and not fed to hot or hard, but gradually brought up on feed, and that should stand up to lots of exercise and time spent working in your herd, come take a look at our guys. We have bulls off our Layne and Champion bulls. Prices are $3000 to $4500 but we are negotiable. We also made a tough decision to offer Codiak Layne GNK 56A FOR SALE as well, he can be purchased semen tested for $6500 obo or we can work a deal if you want his collected and stored semen as well. We would like to keep around 50-100 straws for our own use but we still have 400 that we could make available with the right package deal. These straws have been stored at Alta Genetics since collection at that facility. We are also selling a 2 year old bull we got from Notta Ranch, a son of the famous Zapper bull. He is a good looking boy and will be semen tested prior to sale too, we are asking $4500 for him. If you are interested in any of our boys, just contact us thru email, FB, or by phone. Stay warm and I wish everyone a easy and successful calving season!
